Course overview.
Hands-on throughout, we build a complete business solution across the three days — an asset-tracking system with a mobile app for field staff, automation for approvals and notifications, a Power BI dashboard for management, and the Dataverse model that holds everything together. Real-world architecture, not toy demos.
Who it's for.
IT professionals, business analysts, solution architects and senior citizen developers who need to work across the full Power Platform rather than just one app. Foundation for the PL-900 (Fundamentals) and PL-100 (App Maker Associate) certification paths.
What you'll learn.
Day one — Power Apps and the data foundation
Canvas apps end-to-end, Dataverse table design, relationships and the security model, and the design decisions that determine whether a Power Apps solution scales or gets retired in eighteen months.
Day two — Power Automate and integration
Cloud flows, business-process flows, approvals, error handling and the integration patterns that connect Power Platform solutions to Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics and external APIs.
Day three — Power BI and the production discipline
Power BI fundamentals (data model, DAX basics, visualisations, sharing), plus the Application Lifecycle Management discipline — environments, solutions, deployment pipelines and governance — that turns Power Platform projects into production-grade systems.
